Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Lead Consultant

  • Leads projects to design, implement, upgrade, and support Oracle HCM Cloud systems according to customer requirements. 

  • Coordinates all operational technical aspects of the project phases to deliver according to best practices and standards. 

  • Professional strengths include managing large projects budgets and leading large cross-cultural, cross-functional teams of up to 120 personnel in a matrix onsite offshore global delivery organization. 

Project experience includes:

Client 1) Oracle HCM Cloud Implementation Lead

  • Coordinated user sessions for HCM suite of offerings such as Core HR, Payroll, Benefits and Time Entry. Conducted various CRP sessions with the users to answer questions.

  • Managed functional and technical consultants in onshore/offshore model and delivered on time and within budget.

  • Responsible for end to end design of Benefits by defining Programs, Plans, Plan Types, Options, Eligibility Profiles, Life Events and Variable rate definitions.

  • Responsible to interface with AMCA Benefits service provider for the client extracting date from Oracle Benefits to securely send the data to AMCA.

  • Responsible to write various Benefit formulas to validate certifications for some Life Events, assign variable rates depending on Collective Bargaining Units.

Client 2) Functional HCM Benefits and Payroll Lead

  • Responsible for validating end to end payroll process to understand issues with fast formulas, employee PSD codes and Payroll costing setup to resolve.

  • Resolved issue with check printing by configuring printer set up as per customer preprinted checks.

  • Resolved issue with 403B employee and employer contribution as per Federal regulation limits.

  • Prepared year end check list along with year-end tasks that need to be performed for payroll. Worked on W2 set up to reflect Federal and state related tax information properly on W2 boxes for employees.

Client 3) Functional HCM Benefits, Compensation

  • Evaluate functional gaps by understanding business requirements to develop configuration documents for Benefits and Compensation offerings.

  • Configured Benefits for organization by setting up Plans, Plan Types, Plan Options, Defining Variable rate profile, Eligibility profiles and Life Events.

  • Configured Benefits enrollment process and helped customer in completing Open Enrollment process.

  • Create optimized and reusable payroll elements and eligibility profiles for modules. Worked with ADP team to map ADP codes to payroll elements for Benefits and Compensation offerings.
