Senior Workday Benefits Functional Consultant

Profile

• Working closely with senor benefits staff to identify requirements and provide advice on system functionality, best practice and how to maximize ROI. 

• Serve as the subject matter expert on all Workday Benefits module related issues.

• Identify WD Benefits module skills gaps for training and knowledge transfer.

• Create, test and document new benefit plans, rates, benefit groups, eligibility, and event rules configuration as new plans are introduced during Open Enrollment 

• Update any existing tables that required changes for the new Open Enrollment plan year.

• Maintain documentation of system configuration and business processes, including, but not limited to, Open Enrollment, Hire, Termination, Change Management, Payroll, etc. (Weil, Gotshal & Manges, Danaher Corporation, BCBS of TX, Lancaster General Health)

• Build and test Workday system; confirm with all necessary stake holders that all requirements are met 

• Configure the system, document work and walk through all business processes with customer

• Review, monitor and summarize progress of project testing activities – including performance testing and test case automation 

• Create User Acceptance Test plans, scenarios and UAT conditions.

• Develop test strategies, test approaches for performance and automation events

• Suggest and implement process improvements that will accomplish team, department and business goals.

• Conduct discovery sessions with client to determine pain points and diagnose how Workday can provide value and the implementation can achieve ROI.

• Perform data loading; develop and run reports for audit and analysis.

• Influence and persuade new and existing customers

• Work with the business to develop specific requirements.

• Create and maintain integration design and interface mapping documents.

• High service level expectations in support of the Workday Systems and the user community.
