Senior Workday Payroll Consultant

Profile
  • Senior HR/Payroll Consultant Subject Matter Expert with more than 20+ years of experience providing vision and leadership for developing, implementing, and performing a full range of executive administrative & HRIS duties in Human Resources, Retirement Pension, Payroll, Benefits and employee labor relations procedures.

  • More than 25+ years of experience in multi-state US payroll/payroll tax filing and garnishment processing, and experience with a variety of global payroll providers including ADP Workforce now ADP EV5, Workday 33 and Ceridian.

  • Well versed in calculating retroactive/adjusted pay for new hires, terms, and pay increases; and verifying elected deduction calculations, garnished wages, and Sec. 125 plans for new and existing employees.

  • In depth knowledge of IRS/State regulations and SOX controls.

  • Solid experience leading HR/Payroll system implementations/upgrades (PeopleSoft, Lawson, Workday, Oracle and others) including development of project plans, requirements and testing.

  • Skilled in data analysis and proven ability to present data in a clear, concise and compelling manner.


Recent project experience:


Client 1)

  • Analyze workflows and set necessary configurations in Workday 33 and ADP EV5 legacy software to enable productive utilization of resources to process payroll and troubleshooting payroll.

  • Facilitate training sessions for clients on using Workday 33 payroll application. Generate documentation needed for Payroll solution and HCM Business BP workflows processes of new payroll setup.

  • Organize client process requirements to design and execute strategies for effective utilization of Workday 33 payroll processing.


Client 2)

  • Managed third-party payroll processing and resources for employment tax filings with Workday 26.

  • Performed payroll consulting management with federal Davis-Bacon Act payrolls & Workday 26. 

  • Upgraded Workday 26 to 27 (HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Retirement Payroll, HCM Talent Management, Time Tracking, and Absence Management) Finance, and Time and labor Payroll systems.


Client 3)

  • Provided functional support and payroll processing support to a client migrating from ADP Payroll to Workday Payroll. 

  • System enhancements, changes and payroll configuration.

  • User training and knowledge transfer.
