Workday Functional Consultant (all modules)
Strong, all round Workday functional support and business analyst experience across all Workday HCM modules.
12 years HCM experience, having started as a PeopleSoft Business Analyst and then moving into Workday in 2015.
Recent assignment experience:
Develop and run EIB’s as needed for post implementation work: Yearly hiring plan loads.
Create reports and conduct deep Workday data analysis as needed to support HR Functions and HRIS.
Work HRIS help desk tickets.
Complete core HCM company, country, location hierarchy set up globally.
Troubleshoot; monitor and implement benefit integrations as needed.
Support merit and review cycle.
Set up and troubleshoot benefit plans as needed.
Support vendor relations with third party Workday vendors.
Configure, troubleshoot, and test business process changes.
Focus on process improvement for post implementation challenges
Run and develop EIB’s as need for post implementation work around requirements
Function in Workday System Administrator role to manage Workday inbox task reassignments, monitor for BP issues, troubleshoot transaction issues, recommend process and workflow changes to create more work efficiencies.
Gather and track current Workday issues, process improvement recommendations, prioritize work based on standardized risk matrix.
Train in house employees on all things Workday as needed.
Create reports and conduct deep Workday data analysis as needed to support HR Functions.
Work with Functional and Technical team resources to build requirements documentation, troubles shoot issues, unit and E2E testing for integrations, reports and dashboards that will need to be built in Workday.
Provide SME (HCM, Benefit, BP, Reporting, Integrations) level implementation project experience to all teams as needed.
Worked through the current HR and Payroll report catalogs to determine which reports will need to be replicated in Workday for compliance and productivity best practices.
Identify and document regulatory reports required for configuration in Workday. Create custom reports: Advanced, matrix, composite, dashboard, score cards as needed for the functional and technical teams.
Help plan and identify needed integrations for the project – EIB, CCB, Core Connector, Custom
Work with external vendors to create inbound and outbound integrations (26 Integrations).
Work with internal and external compliance authorities to ensure compliance framework.
Identify and document regulatory reports required for configuration in Workday. Create custom reports as needed.
Build on the benefits report and integrations development life cycle, differentiating between reports that may be created and maintained by the functional teams vs. those reports created by the technical team
Create governance and standards around report and calculated field naming conventions - training materials, etc
