Sr Workday Benefits Configuration Analyst


HRIS Analyst for Benefits teams including production issues, enhancements and open enrollment configuration and support. 

Accomplishments for various clients:

  • Develop requirements documents, test and deploy solutions. 

  • Develop/modify reporting required by Business to support processes. 

  • Develop, test and deploy new features in support of customer needs and within application update cycles.

  • Implemented, tested and delivered derived targets for medical, dental and vision plans to ease employees’ enrollment experience.

  • Configured a new after tax Roth plan for the 401k benefit. 

  • Wrote requirements, configured plan, tested and moved to production.

  • Part of the team that implements the semiannual upgrades of Workday. 

  • Test all automatic changes and regression in order to assure nothing is broken.

  • Participated in the installation of a new HRIS system, Workday. 

  • Responsible for US Benefits as well as APAC and EMEA. 

  • Heavily involved in the conversion of data from the prior system, SAP to Workday and all integration testing for benefits.  

  • Attended training for Benefits Fundamentals, Business Processes and Reporting.

  • Worked with IT and the Benefits Team to troubleshoot issues with the Fidelity Indicative integration and Contribution/Loan integration. The indicative file was not sending new employees to Fidelity and the Contributions and Loan payments process was a manual effort for the benefits team completed semi-monthly. I worked with the payroll team and benefits to create an automated integration which was required by the Audit Team.

  • Assisted with a new integration and volunteer hours tracking system for Global Day of Impact, the company volunteer program.

  • Determined employees that had access to sensitive data on the HRIS system and sent HIPAA compliance notices and tracked responses.
